Pastor Alan Smith, the senior pastor of New Covenant International Christian Center, is a PK (preacher’s kid by birth) but was always destined for ministry from birth. He is a respected spiritual leader and humanitarian, dedicated to creating and providing programs, resources, and services to help the less fortunate.

An anointed preacher and teacher, he draws on his own failures and shortcomings to deliver God’s Word. Pastor Alan has a genuine love for God’s people and uses that love and his comical personality and experiences from his upbringing to illustrate teachings with real-life applications. A visionary and shepherd, Pastor Alan encourages the hopeless with inspirational, timely, and relevant messages.

 

Pastor Debra is a God’s lady in every sense of the word. Pastoring alongside her husband, she exemplifies grace as she does it and remains faithful to the call that God has ordained. She embraces the congregation and those in need with the love of Christ. Anointed to preach, teach, exhort, and a special love for intercession, her heart is to see the power and presence of God manifested in the lives of His people.

 

Together, they are committed to winning souls for Christ. They long to see things happen in the lives of believers; what others say is NOT possible…. marriages restored, families healed, and another generation begins to rise through the power of Almighty God!

 

They believe that this will happen only as believer’s hearts are turned to the complete, absolute Word of God, and the Holy Spirit empowers their lives.

Pastor Alan, a native of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Pastor Debra, who hails from Little Rock, Arkansas, have been married for more than 33 years. Their children Damon, Corey, AJ (Alan Jr.), Christian, and Alexandria, have also been active in the ministry. They have served this congregation since 1987, which they deem a “labor of love.”
